New Zealand Marketing Magazine briefed us to create the cover for their annual Agency- themed issue. The 2019 issue cover story explores client perceptions of ad agencies.
Our approach was to celebrate what amazing work can be created when clients and agencies work together.
We all know that ideas in advertising begin with the client brief, so we put it on page one of the March issue.
Purple on the inside cover represents wisdom and communication.
The brief lies beneath a vibrant orange cover, representing creativity and determination.
The cover itself represents the 'creative filter' an agency puts over a brief in order to generate great ideas; it’s at this moment when client and agency come together.
The cutouts on the cover are designed to emulate the markings of a highlighter, which reveal a quote from within the brief that reads:
"Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success", Henry Ford.
This message celebrates the success that is born from client and agency collaboration.
