Over the last few years, the COLORSTEEL brand system and expression has been evolved to stand out within a homogenised category. However, some areas of the brand and the experiences it delivered were unresolved and others simply weren’t working as hard as they need to.
The new COLORSTEEL website was designed to help shift the perception of buying a roof from “a functional low involvement category driven by price” to “a desirable lifestyle choice driven by emotion and engagement.” We used colour models to help users picture how their roof colour might work against secondary colours, while an ‘inspiration module’ helps them understand how a colour will look in real life using a combination of case studies and rich imagery.
After providing visual inspiration, the new website also makes it easier than ever to find a supplier and specify the use of COLORSTEEL, a critical step in the path to purchase.
