Trilogy Glowing Lady

Giant, evolving mural to launch a skin care product.

When trilogy asked us to launch its new high potency Active Vitamin C treatment, we knew we needed to focus on the results, which genuinely speak for themselves.

The only product of its kind on the New Zealand market, this treatment quite literally makes you glow, with 85% of users seeing an improvement in tired dull skin, after using the product for just two weeks.

So, we decided to physically bring the results to life. We took over a large wall in Auckland’s trendy Ponsonby district and partnered with one of New Zealand’s biggest female street artists. We painted a giant mural of our trilogy muse, the artwork reflected the effectiveness of the product in real time and Aucklanders watched as she slowly turned into our Glowing Lady.

Our team was on site to give out samples which we did in droves, one every 20 seconds to be precise.

The unique product launch caught the attention of national news media and the final artwork was sold to raise funds for Look Good Feel Better, a charity that helps women fight cancer with confidence. The live Glowing Lady activation was supported by a nation-wide in-store sampling campaign, providing massive reach and trial.

After our April launch activity, the one month results showed Vitamin C Booster Treatment and Vitamin C Duo Kit were the No. 1 & 2 top selling products in pharmacy in both total face care and natural skincare categories nationwide – outselling both trilogy’s rosehip oils and other competitor products across the category.
